biography.
íarle is the younger brother of íllra, and the right hand man of the king of tivarhall, fælinn. íarle excels in visions of the future and visions of the past. at some point, he started seeing ominous visions of the gradual descent of the world several decades before it happened. he warned his brother about this as soon as he got the visions. íarle eventually saw another vision of his brother killing him, though he was unable to see anything other than the exact moment of his own death at the hands of his brother. unsure of its meaning, íarle became distrusting of íllra, and to change his own fate, distanced himself from him, instead becoming closer with the king, ending up swearing his unwavering loyalty to the man. after fælinn’s death, íarle’s fear for his own life grew, and he began plotting to have his brother killed. in the end, however, it was this very plot that led to his death.
quick character study; íarle is a complicated one for sure. he started out somewhat torn about the war, but after getting a vision of his brother, íllra, attempting to kill him, out of fear of being too close to his brother, he tried to create some distance between them by becoming more closer to fælinn, which naturally led to him supporting the war over ueigna more as he came to hear fælinn's side and view on things more and was persuaded by the king's natural ability to get people to agree with him. he's caring and doesn't enjoy seeing the gods fight each other, but sees it as a necessary evil in order to save the people of tivarhall from a dark future. íarle is not as physically strong, nor mentally strong, nor does he have the strongest magic.
